About SES

Spectrum Educational Solutions was founded in order to provide specialized training and consultation for special education teachers. Services are primarily focused on teachers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental diasabilities.

SES provides school districts with intensive support and training from the ground up including organizational skills, skill acquisition and behavior assessments, IEP and curriculum development, and intensive training in ABA (applied behavior analysis) Therapy.

SES specializes in the treatment of autism and related developmental disabilities using the technology of ABA and the teaching methods of Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and Errorless Teaching. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for each child while providing the child's teachers and parent(s) with support, knowledge and skills needed to maximize educational outcomes.

Special education teachers must produce a substantial amount of paperwork documenting each student's progress, sometimes under the threat of litigation against the school district by parents if correct procedures are not followed or if they feel their child is not receiving an adequate education. In fact, the physical and emotional demands of the job cause some special education teachers to leave the occupation. SES provides teachers with the knowledge and skills to be better prepared in addressing these daily challenges.
